Orthotics are braces of all types. A prescription from a physician is required so that we can provide you with the correct type of brace required for your condition.
Many orthotics are available already made by various manufacturers. Our certified orthotist will measure you to determine the size needed, and then fit the orthotic to you. Some orthotics require adjustments.
We also manufacture custom orthotics in our laboratory. This may involve a casting procedure.
Following is a list* of types of orthoses we provide:

Custom Foot Orthotics (shoe inserts) - Shoe inserts are custom made from a mold of your foot. On your first visit, your foot will be pressed into a styrofoam like material. The orthotist will then make a plaster mold of your foot. The inserts are then fabricated on the plaster molds. The inserts can be made from a variety of materials. Your doctor’s prescription will tell us the type of material to use and whether any other modifications are needed.
On your second visit, the inserts will be adjusted to fit into your shoes. Athletic type or lace-up shoes are recommended to be used with orthotics.
Shoe Modifications - We also make heel and sole lifts. Some can be fitted inside the shoes, and some are attached to the shoe, depending on the height of the lift.
Shoes - We also provide orthopedic shoes, diabetic shoes, and custom shoes.
